Meet Fancie - a Brookside Barkery Maltese

Fancie is an 8 yr old Maltese that has suffered with uncontrollable allergies for her entire life. Working with a vet. we kept her on steroids and shots in order to make her comfortable. We did everything we could to control the symptoms, including ear surgery to open up the ear canal.

Then we met The Brookside Barkery team. During our first visit to the Brookside store we met Delena were convinced that we should change food and treat Fancie's allergies by using natural products like Solid Gold Scorbate and EVO foods. During that first visit Fancie had "racing stripes" on her back, two areas where she had literally chewed away her fur.

After that visit and the suggested changes Fancie began to improve. We immediately began noticing a change in her symptoms. She didn't scratch near as much and her fur began to grow back. We have used a number of different foods and supplements since then.

We now visit The Brookside Barkery at Dog's Day Out in Independence. Dana suggested we try acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine, so she introduced us to Dr. Perkins. Now with a combination of acupuncture treatments, Chinese herbs and Nature's Variety Raw foods from the Barkery, Fancie is a happy, healthy girl again!
