Meet Cosmo - a Brookside Barkery Dog
 My family brought
home our wonderful Westie Cosmo in June 2006 from a local breeder. He
was 10 weeks old. Our hearts were lost to him from the moment we picked
him from the litter. I began using Science Diet since that was what the
breeder used and after one year began a switch to other premium brands
in search of the best possible diet for Cosmo due to his tendency to
lick the pads of his paws until they we red and irritated. In September
of 2007 Cosmo was diagnosed with Hypothyroidism and began taking
hormone tablets for the condition. Again my search for holistic and
health products continued. Shortly after that I made my first trip to
Brookside Barkery. Brookside Barkery recommended Dr. Farris and ever
since that time Cosmo and our family have counted on Brookside Barkery
for information along with our visits to Dr. Farris.
I have learned so much about foods, supplements, shampoos/conditioners,
vaccines, etc. from the information provided by Brookside Barkery.
Cosmo has been a regular visitor for his groomings with Claire, who is
so sweet and caring with Cosmo and his needs. We visit the Brookside
Barkery at least once a week. Cosmo currently is eating a combination
of Orijen dry kibble with Urban Legend, along with various frozen meats
including green tripe, chicken and beef. Cosmo's licking is minimal now
with I believe some seasonal allergies. Please continue to provide the
best products and knowledge that my companion Cosmo deserves. My motto
is "If it isn't recommended or sold at Brookside Barkery we don't buy
