Meet Barley, a Bernese Mountain Dog & Cooper a Labrador

In March, we got a beautiful Bernese Mountain Dog after months of waiting and searching. Barley came to live with us when he was 8 weeks old and an adorable ball of fur. He looked just like a stuffed animal and was all the talk when we walked him along the Trolley Track Trail or along the Brookside shops.

We had been coming to the Brookside Barkery for two years for food for our Lab, Cooper, and three cats, who are all beautiful and get tons of compliments on their great fur! So we knew that, in order to be good pet parents, we really needed to start Barley off right with a healthy Brookside Barkery all-natural diet – though his breeder used an unmentionable product (gasp)! It has sure paid off!

When Barley was just four months old, he had to have emergency intestinal surgery. The vets told us he not only did remarkably well in the surgery, but his recovery was faster and better than they imagined it would be. His super healthy, all-natural diet was a huge part of his recovery success!

Barley is now an eight month old beautiful Berner boy. He loves his big "brother" Cooper, as well as meeting all of the neighbors (or as he calls them: "his adoring fans").
